Waldport, Oregon
Waldport is located where the Alsea River collides with the Pacific Ocean . The historic Alsea Bay Bridge takes you across the river just beside the Pacific Ocean . On the north end of town, the chamber of commerce offers a wonderful exhibit that outlines the rich history of Waldport. During low tide, you can comb the beach for tons of driftwood, rocks, shells, clams, and rocks. If you can't find the particular sea treasure you were after, visit one of many interesting local shops.
