facilities. Sailing and windsurfing rentals, water skiing, or just
plain lounging around on a hot summers day can be had only
5 minutes out of Ashland.
Ski
Ashland
Skiers from Ashland and Medford love Ski Ashland for its convenience
and challenging terrain. Traveling skiers enjoy it because of Ashland's
active theater community which means there's plenty to do at night
and wide-open lodging opportunities that were built to handle large
summer crowds.
Green
Springs Inn
Green Spring Inn, restaurant and meeting space is nestled in a forest
clearing on a southern Oregon mountain byway. Have a wonderful meal,
spend a night in the lodge, enjoy a jacuzzi room, read a book or
play a game of horseshoes. Located approximately 25 miles southeast
of Medford.
Tubb
Springs State Park
In 1846, a wagon train led by Jesse Applegate traversed southern
Oregon along what became known as the Applegate Trail. Tub Springs
Wayside is one of the stopping points before you head down the mountain
pass into Ashland. Take a moment to stop here amid the towering
fir and sense what it was like 150 years ago. Breathe in the fresh
mountain air. There's an interpretive panel at the wayside describing
the difficulties faced by these pioneers.
Box
R Ranch
The Green Springs Box-R Ranch, a working guest ranch of over 1,500
acres, offers a unique mountain retreat in the Southern Oregon Cascades.
It is now enclosed within the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument
and contains some of the most diverse plant and animal life found
in the state of Oregon.

Monument, this 1920's roadhouse has been restored as a dinner, bed
and breakfast inn. Located on Highway 66, the Inn is a scenic half-hour
drive east of Ashland and forty-five minutes from Klamath Falls.
It is a beautiful unspoiled place, rich in history and today serves
as a lovely reminder of times gone by.
Hyatt
Lake
Hyatt Lake campground is located at the south end of Hyatt Lake
and is open April 26 through October (weather permitting) and no

approximately 28 miles southeast of Medford.

complex, trails, equestrian center, and indoor pool make this one
of Oregon's great places! A superb full service destination resort
and community on Highway 140 west of Klamath Falls. Beautiful Klamath
